Shipping

We carefully pack your purchase and ship via FedEx Home Delivery (or Ground, if it is going to a business) or USPS Priority Mail; whichever is more cost-effective given the weight of the piece and proximity to the Twin Cities, Minnesota.

Unless the site indicates on the top of the front page that we are away, we typically package and ship twice a week, after receipt of cleared payment.

We combine shipping of separate orders if the weight and size of the pieces permit, and refund excess shipping paid. Once an order is packaged, we can no longer combine shipping. If you wish to continue shopping and have us combine shipping, it is important that you enclose a note with your order asking us to hold off on packaging while you continue shopping.

If you wish to have us ship elsewhere, please contact us and request a quote for shipping to your location.

Please note that if you pay using the PayPal payment method (as opposed to entering your credit card details), PayPal requires us to ship to the shipping address that you confirmed with PayPal during the purchase.  If you need to change this, please contact me for further steps.

For orders under $500, packages are shipped without signature confirmation.  If a package is shown as delivered by FedEx or USPS, but you have not received it, we will provide their proof of delivery and assist with reasonable efforts to investigate, however we will not accept liability for any lost, missing or damaged packages.

If you would like to add signature confirmation to your delivery, please let us know either before or at the time or ordering.  Please note that FedEx and USPS both charge additional fees for signature confirmation and your shipping charges may increase as a result.

If your order is over $500, you will be required to sign for delivery. If you have enrolled with FedEx Delivery Manager, you can use that service to have your package held at a FedEx location for pickup if signature delivery is inconvenient.

Orders under $500 are not insured with their shipping carrier. If you wish your package to be insured with either FedEx or USPS, please contact us and we will add it to your order.  Insurance costs vary according to the package value and shipping company, however mostly run from $3 – $6 for orders under $500.  Orders over $500 are insured with the carrier.  If your carrier does not deliver your package, or delivers it damaged, we will be happy to lodge a claim on your behalf, however the final decision lies with the shipping company, and the Pan Handler will only refund the amount determined by the shipping company.
