This is a very nice Wagner Ware stylized logo National skillet. It was made between the 1930’s and 1940’s in Sidney, OH.
It features the Wagner stylized logo in the middle of the underside of the pan, with “NATIONAL” above it, and the product number “1358 I” below. The “I” after the product number almost looks like a “T”. This could have been a production mistake, and is a fun and unique thing to have on your pan.
It is 14-3/4″ long, including the handle, and 10-1/2″ across the pouring spouts. It sits flat.
There are average signs of use on this pan – with a few small pockmarks on the cooking surface, and minor variations in color and texture. Please see the pictures. This will even out with additional use and seasoning. This pan will be a great cooker, and only get better with age!
I cleaned this pan to bare iron and heat-seasoned it with one coat of our special mixture of coconut and canola oils, and beeswax.
It is ready for immediate use or display!
