This is a beautiful, and scarce find!
Made by the Griswold Manufacturing Company in Erie, Pennsylvania between the 1880’s – 1910’s, this is an unmarked No. 4 Vienna Roll pan. Otherwise identical to Griswold No. 4 Pans, the unmarked version is missing the raised letters “No 4″ that otherwise occur on Variation 3. Although faint, it even has the half moon on the middle bridge that indicates it to be a Griswold.
This pan is approx 12.5″ long and 6.5” wide and features 4 cups for making individual vienna rolls.
Variations 3 and 4 are the most scarce of the Griswold No. 4 Vienna Roll Pans, and sell for between $1,000 – $4,000. We are very excited to have the unmarked version of these variations in stock!
Please examine the photos carefully. As this is an old pan, there are some casting marks (due to the sands shifting during the casting process) and some roughness on the interior edge of the outer pan. For something over 100 years old, it is stunning!
This gorgeous pan has been thoroughly cleaned and seasoned with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use or display!
