This is a beautiful 2-step stepstool in near-mint condition. It is made of shiny silver metal. The rubber mats on the two steps are marked GRISWOLD. The metal legs are in gorgeous condition – the 4 rubber feet are all intact. These stepstools are very difficult to find. When you are fortunate enough to find one, it is common to find some rusting on the legs or rubber pad, or significant wear to the rubber mats. This piece has neither. I would have called this a minty stepstool but for some slight signs of use to the top rubber pad – see photos. The stool measures ~16″ tall at tallest, ~11 wide, ~16″ long at longest.
From what I have read, this step stool was manufactured in the late 1950s by the Randall Corporation when they owned the rights to the Griswold name.
