This beautiful piece was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Co in Erie, Pennsylvania between the 1880’s & 1920’s.
It is a Griswold No. 3 Gem Pan, variation 3, pn 942.
It features a raised “No. 3″ on the underside, and the pattern 942.
It is 12-3/8″ long, and 8-1/2″ wide. It has 11 cups, and they are 3” wide.
This pan is in gorgeous condition with very few signs of use.
There is some slight roughness in the casting around a couple of the cups, but this is not unusual for gem pans of this era. Please see the pictures.
This gem pan has been thoroughly cleaned, and heat seasoned with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use or display!
