This pan was made by the Wagner Manufacturing Co in Sidney, OH in the 1930’s. It has the WagnerWare stylized logo on the underside with the Wagner product number 1218 B. There is also a B on the underside of the handle. The writing is crisp and clear.
The skillet is 9-5/8″ wide. It is 1-1/2″ high. It rocks when I press firmly on the rims – this pan is most suited to raised cooking surfaces, or would be wonderful for camping and the grill! I have lowered the price as a result.
The pan is in great shape! The cooking surface only has very light signs of use. The underside has some pinpricks – likely from air bubbles during the casting process, and there is some small discoloration on one corner of the exterior walls.
I took lots of photos – please look at them closely!
This pan has been cleaned to bare iron and seasoned with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use or display!
