This is my first – and only one of two – G.F. Filley cast iron gem pan. It was manufactured by the Excelsior Stove Works Company between 1865 and 1900. The Filley pans are scarce.
The pan measures 11-1/2″ long handle to handle, and it is 7″ wide. It is about 7/8″ tall. It has gate marks on the bottom. It is marked on the underside of the handles – one is marked in raised letters G.F. FILLEY and the other is marked No. 5. It is in lovely condition.
The pan has been cleaned to bare iron and seasoned with mixture of Crisco and Pam. It is ready for use and display!
