This barely used pan was manufactured by the Wagner Manufacturing Co, in Sidney, Ohio, likely in the 1960’s.
The pan is marked on the bottom as shown in the photos: WAGNER WARE 11-3/4 INCH SKILLET MADE IN USA X. The top of the handle is marked with a 10.
The pan is 16-5/8″ long, including the handle, 12-1/2″ wide at the pouring spouts and 2-1/4″ high.
The interior walls have prominent milling marks, as does the cooking surface. I do not see signs of use to this pan.
The outer wall has an area that has been ground smooth (i.e. the rest of the pan has a bit of a “pebbly” surface;there is one area on the outer wall that does not have that pebbled surface). This is consistent with other pans of this particular make, though we have yet to discover why. There is a small indentation near the center of the cooking surface. Please examine the photos closely.
This pan has movement, and is best recommended for raised cooking surfaces (such as gas) rather than induction or glass cooktops. Of course it is perfect ovens, campfires and displaying on your wall!
This pan has been thoroughly cleaned and heat seasoned with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use or display!
