This gorgeous vintage skillet was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Co in Erie, Pennsylvania between 1944-1957.
It features the Griswold small logo, with “NO. 10” above it and “ERIE, P.A.” below. The pattern number, 716 B, is below that. The writing is crisp and clear.
The matching lid is marked with the Griswold small logo on the underside and the pattern 1100. It has a high dome, and basting rings, which are ridges on the underside of the lid that will cause condensation to drip back down into the pot as your food cooks.
The skillet measures 11-3/4″ wide, excluding the pouring spouts, and approx 16-3/4″ long, including the handle. It sits flat.
This pan is stunning! The original grinding marks are prominent on the interior walls and the cooking surface is beautiful, with very, very few signs of use. The lid is in excellent condition.
I have taken lots of pictures, so please click on the magnifying glass to examine them closely.
This pan has been thoroughly cleaned and seasoned with our special mixture of coconut & canola oils, and beeswax. The lid has been seasoned with Crisco. It is ready for immediate use or display!!
