This is a minty Griswold lamb cake mold.
It was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Company around the 1930’s.
The name “Griswold” is not on the lamb; that marking was not on Griswold’s lamb. The particulars of the lamb and its face, as well as the numbers, identify it as a Griswold lamb.
It is marked with 865 on the front piece, and 866 on the back piece.
It is 10-1/4″ long, excluding the handles, and 3-3/4″ wide at the base.
It is in stunning condition! I see no signs of use.
I have taken lots of pictures, so please click on the magnifying glass to see this fabulous piece in more detail.
This lamb has been thoroughly cleaned, and heat seasoned with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use!
