This is a very lovely vintage plett pan, of unknown maker. Plett pans were often used to make Swedish pancakes, however you could also use them for pikelets, or even eggs.
This pan has a distinctive spout on one side, and on the understide of the handle is a thumb rest and the letter “A”.
It is 13 3/4″ long, including the handle, and nearly 10″ wide at the spout. It is 5/8″ tall. This pan sits flat.
There are a couple of small indentations on both the cooking surface and underside that were likely caused by air bubbles during the casting process, and a little textural roughness on the exterior wall near the handle. Overall this pan is in great condition and ready to be put to work!
It has been cleaned to bare iron and seasoned with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use or display!
