This pan was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Co in Erie, Pennsylvania between 1920 – 1930. It features the Griswold large block logo, with “CAST IRON SKILLET 3” above it, and “ERIE P.A., U. S. A.” below, along with the pattern number 709 B.
It is 10.5″ long, including the handle, and 7.25″ wide at the pouring spouts. It sits flat.
The interior is lovely, with only light signs of use on the cooking surface, and some of the original grinding marks still visible on the interior walls. The heat ring has an indentation and some areas of rough texture.
I have thoroughly cleaned this pan, and heat seasoned it with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use!
