Made by the Griswold Manufacturing Co in Erie, Pennsylvania, between 1930 – 1939, this lovely vintage skillet features the Griswold large block logo on the underside, with “CAST IRON SKILLET 9” above it, and “ERIE, PA., U.S.A.” below, as well as the pattern number, 710. The writing is crisp and clear.
The pan is 16-1/4″ long, including the handle, and 12-3/16″ wide at the pouring spouts. It is suitable for all cooktops!
This pan is a beautiful rich black color with very few signs of use. The usual scratches and pitting one finds on the cooking surface of vintage pans are absent.
I have taken lots of pictures so please click on the magnifying glass to examine this skillet in more detail.
I have thoroughly cleaned this pan, and heat seasoned it with our special combination of coconut and canola oils, and beeswax.
It is ready for immediate use!
