This vintage skillet was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Co in Erie, PA in the 1930’s.
It features the Griswold large block logo, with “CAST IRON SKILLET 7” above it, and “ERIE PA, U.S.A.” below, along with the pattern number 701 A. The writing is crisp and clear.
The cooking surface has a few light scratches and signs of use, and there is some minor variation in texture on the walls. Please see photos.
The skillet is 14-5/8″ long, and the cooking surface is 8-1/2″ in diameter. It sits flat.
This pan has been thoroughly cleaned, and heat seasoned with our special mixture of coconut & canola oils, and beeswax.
It is ready for immediate use or display!
