Made in the 1950’s in Erie, Pennsylvania by the Griswold Manufacturing Co, these two Size #0 table service dutch ovens can be used as part of a set, or on their own. They aren’t just serving dishes, you can cook in these! I can see hot dips, individual portions of mac ‘n cheese, soups or even creme brulee!
They feature the Griswold block logo on the underside, with “NO. 0 TABLE SERVICE DUTCH OVEN” above it, and “ERIE PA. 67″ below.
They are 4-5/16″ in diameter (excl the handles) and 1-7/8” tall, excluding the lid.
These little dutch ovens are in flamingo red and cream. Their interiors are glossy and missing the discoloration that often comes with these pieces. The exteriors look almost new. One piece has a couple of light chips in the rim, and another on the underside of one handle. There is also a faint mark on the logo on the underside. The other piece has a paint chip on the underside of one handle.
One lid has two chips on the underside of the rim, the other lid has one, and a couple of spots on the handle. I’m being extra thorough with pointing these things out – you can also look closely at the pictures by clicking on the magnifying glass.
Overall, this set is in great condition! It has been thoroughly cleaned, and is ready for immediate use or display.
