This vintage set was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Co. in Erie, Pennsylvania between 1944-1957, and features the Griswold small logo, with the scooped, or grooved handle with the size above (NO. 7 or NO. 9) and the pattern below, and the writing “ERIE PA.”. The markings are crisp and clear.
The No. 7 is is in near mint condition! The original grinding marks are prominent on the interior walls and cooking surface. There are a couple of very faint signs of use, which to me look more like they were incurred during a move of some kind rather than any cooking. It has a beautiful, glossy black patina.
The No. 9 is in excellent condition. The grinding marks are prominent on the interior walls, and the cooking surface shows average signs of use.
The No. 7 measures 10-5-8″ across the pouring spouts, and the No. 9 is 12-1/4 across the pouring spouts. The are both suitable for all cooktops!
I have taken lots of pictures, so please click on the magnifying glass to view them in detail.
This pan set has been thoroughly cleaned and seasoned with one coat of Crisco.
It is ready for immediate use or display!
