This is a particularly beautiful Wagner Ware stylized logo National skillet. It was made between the 1930’s and 1940’s in Sidney, OH.
It features the Wagner stylized logo in the middle of the underside of the pan, with “NATIONAL” above it, and the product number “1358 A” below. The markings are crisp and clear.
It is 14-7/8″ long, including the handle, and the cooking surface is 8-1/2″ in diameter. It sits flat.
The cooking surface and interior walls have a beautiful, smooth, black patina, with only very light signs of use. There are a couple of very superficial scratches on the right exterior wall. Please see the photos.
I cleaned this pan to bare iron and heat-seasoned it with one coat of our special mixture of coconut and canola oils, and beeswax.
It is ready for immediate use or display!
