This fabulous family pan was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Co in the 1940’s as part of their Iron Mountain range of pans.
It features the unique Iron Mountain handle, with an assist handle opposite and a heat ring underneath. It is marked “12” with the pattern “1084”. It sits flat.
This pan is in excellent condition! There are only light signs of use on the cooking surface, which has a beautiful glossy patina. There are a couple of small indentations near the right pouring spout, and on the underside there are some scratches. There is also a very faint variation in texture on the underside – please see the pictures.
This skillet has been thoroughly cleaned, and heat seasoned with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use or display!
