This little No. 3 cast iron skillet was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Company in Erie, Pennsylvania between x & y. The number 3 is engraved on the handle, and on the underside there is “NO. 3”, the Griswold small logo, with the letters “ERIE PA.” and the pattern number “709 B”.
The skillet is 10 1/2″ long and 7 1/8″ wide at the pouring spouts. It’s 1 3/8″ high and the cooking surface is approx 5 1/2″.
The cooking surface is gorgeous. Grind marks are visible on both the cooking surface and the walls. There are very very light signs of use.
This pan has movement, and is suited to raised cooktops only. This makes this pan far more affordable than it normally would be, with such a great cooking surface, it’s a bargain!
This pan has been cleaned to bare iron and seasoned with our special mixture of coconut and canola oils, and beeswax. It is ready for immediate use or display!
