This No. 6 cast iron was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Co in Erie, Pennsylvania between 1939-1944.
It features the Griswold small logo on the underside, with “NO. 6” above it, “ERIE, PA” below, and the pattern number, 699 K. The writing is crisp and clear.
It is approx 9-3/4″ across the pouring spouts, and 13-1/2″ long, including the handle. It sits flat!
This pan has some average signs of use on the cooking surface, superficial scratches and such. They will fill in with additional use and seasoning – this pan will only get better!
There are also some wire wheel marks on the exterior. These don’t look the prettiest, so we’ve taken this into account. They won’t stop this pan from being a wonderful cooker or camping pan!
This pan has been thoroughly cleaned, and heat seasoned with one coat of our special mixture of coconut & canola oils, and beeswax. It is ready for immediate use!
