This is a very pretty trivet. The Japanning has worn away in areas, which has resulted in a cool rustic coppery patina, with remnants of the black Japanning. The Japanning on the bottom is primarily intact. Please take a look at the photos.
I do not know the maker of this trivet. It is marked on the top FROM PRODUCER TO CONSUMER TRADEMARK. There is also a symbol which presumably was the maker’s symbol, in the center – see photos. It measures 7-1/4″ long by 3-7/8″ wide at its widest. It sits flat on 4 stubby feet.
Please take a look at the photos – this is sold in “as found” condition.
