This gorgeous old pan was made by the Griswold Manufacturing Co in Erie, Pennsylvania between 1906-1912.
It features the Griswold slant logo on the underside, with “8” above it, and “ERIE” below, as well as the pattern number, 704 L. The writing is crisp and clear. It has a heat ring.
This pan sits flat.
It is 15.25″ long, including the handle, and 11.25′ wide at the pouring spouts.
The interior and cooking surface are wonderful, with a beautiful glossy black patina. There are a few pinpricks, likely from air bubbles in the sand during the casting process, but overall this pan has seen very little use.
I have taken lots of pictures, so please examine them closely.
This pan has been thoroughly cleaned, and seasoned with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use or display!
