This beautiful old pan was made by the Wagner Manufacturing Co in Sidney, Ohio between 1900 – 1915. It features “WAGNER” on the back in block letters, and the number 9 D. It has a heat ring.
This pan is 16″ long and 12-1/8″ wide at the pouring spouts. It is suitable for all cooking surfaces.
It’s in great condition for being an antique! There are some small nicks in the rim and light signs of use on the cooking surface. There is pitting on the underside – I believe the word “SIDNEY” was originally marked under the “WAGNER” logo, but the pitting obscures this. Pitting comes from use over an old coal or wood stove. This pan has history!
There is some variation in the patina, this is from the seasoning. It will even out with additional use.
I have taken lots of photos, so please click on the magnifying glass to view them in detail.
This beautiful old pan has been thoroughly cleaned, and heat-seasoned with one coat of Crisco. It is ready for immediate use or display!
