This lovely skillet was made by the Wagner Manufacturing Co in Sidney, OH between 1898-1915.
It is marked on the underside with “”WAGNER” SIDNEY O”, the number 12. The writing is crisp and clear.
The cooking surface is 11-5/8″ in diameter. It is suitable for all cooktops!
The cooking surface has some average signs of use, some superficial scratches and such. These will fill in with additional use and seasoning. The underside also has some casting marks, likely from sands shifting in the mold. Please see the pictures.
Overall, this pan is in wonderful shape for being over 100 years old!
I have thoroughly cleaned this beautiful piece of history, and it has been heat-seasoned with one coat of our special mixture of coconut & canola oils, and beeswax. It is ready for immediate use or display!
