Product Description

The Griswold Mfg. Co. made this platt pan for the Alfred Andresen Company between about 1900 and 1920.There are 4 known variations of the Andresen platt pan; this is variation number 2. It is fun to collect all of the different variations! The plett pan is often used to make Swedish pancakes, which are a bit like mini crepes. Delicious!

This plett pan is marked on the bottom as shown in the photos: “PLETT PAN” ALFRED ANDRESEN & CO. MINNEAPOLIS MINN. The pan is 9-1/2″ in diameter, and about 5/8″ high. The cups are 3″ in diameter and about 1/4″ deep.

This pan has been cleaned to bare iron and heat-seasoned with a mixture of Crisco vegetable shortening and Pam. It is ready for use and display.
